International Ballet Stars Sunrise Theatre reviews
Diana Ross was fabulous!
"I left the concert thinking how many great songs she sang and how many huge hits she had. Each outfit she wore was more glamorous, colorful, and over-the-top than the last one. She is a true diva, a terrific performer. My favorite numbers were "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "Stop-- in the Name of Love". The crowd was on its feet from the moment she took the stage, singing along with her, applauding her entire career with The Supremes and as a solo artist. Her voice sounded much better than when I had seen International Ballet Stars at the Universal Amphitheater many years ago. She was terrific, but the hundreds of photographs of her in her younger days were a bit narcissistic. I wish she had sung "I Hear a Symphony." Her apparent insistence upon no close-ups on the two large screens on either side of the stage."
